D.J. Jackson is a science illustrator based in Monterey, California.
While his subject matter is quite broad, he has a particular interest in marine biology and ecology. He has done work for scientists and educators from the Great Barrier Reef to Denver, Colorado. While he practices the use of many traditional media, he also does a lot of digital illustration using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, which have become major tools for modern day illustrators. D.J. is very interested in the conservation nature, both marine and terrestrial, as he hopes to continue illustrating, teaching, diving and climbing the natural world.
